The Girls
Rebecca Stichter: Maid of Honor
Rebecca is one of my closest and dearest friends. After meeting in the dorms in college, we joined the same sorority and then became roommates. Post-college, we both moved to Long Beach for grad school, studied psychology and began working at the same agency. Over the years Rebecca and I have loved traveling together, visiting everywhere from Spain, Italy and Germany to Amsterdam, Poland, Czech Republic, and China. Rebecca is also getting married this year and I feel lucky to also be a part of her special day. Rebecca is more to me than just a great friend and I am so honored to have her in my wedding and as such a big part of my life!
Ashley Coleman: Bridesmaid
Ashley is another of my oldest and closest friends. I met Ashley in college while living in the dorms and joining the same sorority. Some of my fondest memories from college are with Ashley and she’s been such a great friend and support in my life over the years. Ashley currently lives in Florida as a journalist and reporter so I don’t get to see her as often as I’d like, but she will always be a great friend no matter where she is!
Audrey Conk: Bridesmaid
Audrey is another amazing friend from college. I met Audrey my second year when she transferred to Chico and was a high school friend of one of my roommates. Audrey and I lived together my last year of college and then continued to be great friends when we both moved to southern California after college. Audrey moved to New York for a couple of years, which was a great place for me to visit, but I’m happy she’s back in California now!!
Kelly Conrad: Bridesmaid
Kelly and I have only known each other for about 5 years, but she’s one of those friends that you feel like you’ve known forever. Kelly is originally from Virginia and moved out to California after college for a change. I met Kelly through some mutual friends when I moved to Redondo Beach and she actually knew Eric before I did! We’ve had so many fun times together and I feel lucky to have met her and have her as a part of our wedding!
Kaaren Embertson: Bridesmaid
Not only am I lucky to be marrying such a great guy, but I’m also gaining a wonderful sister-in-law! I met Kaaren for the first time when I joined the Iverson’s on a family trip a couple of years ago. Kaaren was kind and welcoming from the moment I met her and I’ve really enjoyed getting to know her and her husband Randell as we’ve spent more time together. I look forward to spending more time together and making many more memories!
The Boys
Jaime Brown
I had the pleasure of introducing Jaime and his twin brother Peter to Malaga Cove when they moved to Palos Verdes in the 7th grade. We became friends soon after that and hung out a lot through High School. Jaime made the trip down to Chico to visit Dan and I whenever Miles and Rob came up – always a good reunion. After college Jaime returned to the South Bay as well… so we got to hang out and playing a lot of volleyball. Jaime and I stated up a venture SouthBayEvents.com which is now the premier site for what is going on in the South Bay and we also got to work together as he headed up and developed the SEO branch of Extima. It was great working with Jaime for the last few years!
Dan Coffey
Dan and I met in Jr. High as well and became good friends in High school. We played in a little garage band called Headcheese, and we spent a lot of time hanging out in School. It turned out that both of us decided to go to Chico State where we were roommates for several years and had an amazing college experience. After college, we spent a lot of weekends hanging out while my band (Mystic Roots) was in San Diego where he lived or while he was up in the South Bay visiting. When he decided to move back to the South Bay, Dan, Miles and I move in together for a few years until he married Jessica and continued on to have a baby – Dylan. Dan is in San Pedro now and we still get to hang out even post-baby!
Rob Ribitsch
Pretty Rob! Charm! That is how you might hear us refer to this young lad. Rob was the first person to say “Yes Eric, I will move in with you when you move down here next week” when I made the knee-jerk decision to move from Sacramento to the South Bay. Thanks for that Rob! We moved in with Miles and Jaime’s twin brother Pete in a condo in Hermosa Beach. We planted some roots down here and have continued to be friends… going out, playing football and volleyball, biking around town…. and did I mention that Rob was also part of our Palos Verdes crew of friends too?
Miles Sattelmeier
Miles and I met back in Junior high playing sports and became good friends in High school playing in our Band Headcheese. Through college, we visited each other in Chico and UCLA as well as back home in PV over a few of the summers. When I moved back to the South Bay, Miles, Rob and I moved in together and shortly after that Miles joined me in Mystic Roots Band and hit the road with the band. We have been roomies since then, continuing to play volleyball tournaments and having a great time.
Rob, Jaime, Dan, Miles and I have been lucky enough to not only stay in contact but remain great friends for about 20 years now.
Alex Snyder
And my newest friend… Alex is Cori’s brother and we met not too long after we started dating. However, we really got to hang out at a 6-Man tournament in Manhattan beach and at several family get-togethers. I am truly looking forward to having Alex as a my brother in law. He is always great to hang out with and I look forward to getting to know him even better!
